G.A Palace Hotel Porto, a 5-star gem with an Italian touch, offers grandeur in the heart of the city. We were fortunate to secure a fantastic offer, paying just €200 per night instead of the regular €500 rate.

Situated in the city center, the hotel's location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. A parking garage is conveniently located just three buildings away.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of three doormen, providing a professional welcome that set the tone for our stay.

The rooms feature classic herringbone flooring, luxurious curtains, and elegant wallpaper. While not overly spacious, they are impeccably finished and exude luxury. We particularly enjoyed the small balcony overlooking the bustling city center.

On the -1 floor, you'll find the spa with an indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, and sauna.

The hotel also boasts a beautifully designed lounge, reminiscent of a classic living room, although it lacks a traditional hotel bar.

Set in the heart of Porto, Hotel G.A Palace combines luxurious decor with a homely atmosphere, breathing new life into this early 20th-century building that was owned by the same family for three generations. Often referred to as an oasis in the city, GA's sprawling gardens and year-round pool are some of the main features of the welcoming outdoor areas.

It's located within a short walk of some of the city's most famous monuments, its best restaurants, and quirkiest bars, making it easy for you to enjoy most of what this captivating city has to offer.

At the heart of our hotel experience, you'll find our lush gardens, a true labor of love. Take some time to get lost in this oasis in the middle of Porto, whether under the shade of a tree or right by our perfectly clear and heated swimming pool, which is open year-round. Indulge in a swim, sip a cocktail, read a book, or simply relax in carefree idleness.

The beautifully appointed restaurant is a highlight! Although we had already made dining arrangements elsewhere, we certainly would have dined here if given the chance.

The breakfast buffet is a colorful delight, complemented by attentive staff.

With Mediterranean palms and Italian cypresses, this hotel will transport you to Italy while being in the heart of Porto.
