XXL: Dining at Wyndham Algarve

Nestled within the Wyndham hotel in Quinta do Lago, Almancil, XXL introduces an extraordinary dining concept, promising a unique culinary adventure. Helmed by the culinary maestro, Olivier, XXL stands as one of his six remarkable concepts.

With a culinary footprint spanning 26 restaurants across Portugal and beyond, Olivier's expertise shines, exemplified by his renowned Japanese establishment, Yakuza, at the Pine Cliffs resort in Albufeira.

Upon entering the opulent Wyndham foyer, patrons are greeted to indulge in pre-dinner drinks at the Grand Bar. As they move onward to the dining area, they are presented with a choice: dine indoors or al fresco on the terrace, overlooking the pool.

While the staff exudes warmth, it is evident they are still acquainting themselves with the novel concept. In light of this, Olivier has flown in a trusted member from Yakuza to train the staff.

The menu, more succinct than its predecessor, the former Dourade concept, strays from an overtly fine-dining atmosphere. Yet, prices align with that stature, with starters at €8, salads at €19, and main courses ranging from €25 to €89.
