The One, the fine dining restaurant of Tivoli resort in Carvoeiro, is luxurious furnished, but also a bit boring. But.. you do have a nice view over the ocean.

They have a 6-course vegetarian Tasting menu (70.00) and a regular Tasting menu (80.00).

You can also choose from the a la carte menu, but strangely enough there are no vegetarian or vegan dishes on it. When asked, there are several vegan options, so that's great.

No amuses-bouches, but bread to start the meal. What a pitty!

The food that chef Bruno Augusto makes is fantastic, to see and to taste!

And the price/quality ratio is great. Restaurant manager Francisco Meira tells enthousiastic about the wine and food. The staff, they do their job well and professionally, but I miss the real human contact.

PS Something about an aperitif..
The skybar seems to be very nice, but it was closed due to staff shortage. And that is a pity for a hotel with 280 rooms.

Now the aperitif had to drink in the Azul bar, and you don't want to be found dead there, as they say in the Netherlands... It looks more like an auditorium than a lounge/bar.
