A beautiful peninsula that you can reach via a long bridge

There are several restaurants and there is even a hotel on this island.

It's only 1 km from Faro airport, right behind the protected wetlands, this peninsula.

Lovely tropical music makes me think I'm on a tropical island… unique atmosphere.

But unfortunately food is mediocre. The curry is very sharp, but in the wrong way. Both the salad and the fried mushrooms are way too salty.

The mains are between 11.50 and 24 euro.

The wine is not really good and the staff not really friendly.

But still ...... we will come back here. If only for the view and a cocktail, or a place on the beach. The place is lovely! Caribbean feeling, 19 minutes from home, without having to fly..
