It is housed in a beautifully renovated building. You enter through the cozy bar, from where you can see the semi-open kitchen. As you walk through you come to the small restaurant area that has 5 tables. There is a beautiful roof terrace on the first floor.
The menu offers many starters, such as salt cod and shrimp with pineapple and mushrooms with green pepper and bacon. The main courses are duck fillet with oranges, wild boar with port wine. The prices are from 12-17 euro.
Price 120 euros, for 4 x 3 courses incl wine and water, what is reasonably priced.
As vegetarian options, the menu includes beautiful starters such as beetroot carpaccio, fresh tomato soup and eggplant with goat cheese. Unfortunately, there is only one vegetarian main course, lentil moussaka.
We were received very friendly, and we were the first guests. Later in the evening 2 more guests joined. The beetroot carpaccio looked beautiful and tasted delicious. The tomato soup was also very tasty, you could taste the full flavor of the tomatoes. The mushrooms with green bell pepper from the oven tasted very good!
The moussaka was a bit bland in taste.
The caesar salad was disappointing. It turned out to be some iceberg lettuce with chicken. It was offered as a main course, but was certainly not a full meal. It seemed more like a cheap starter.
Dessert was an apple crumble.
The starters were the best part of the meal.
We will come back later, to try again when they are more experienced.
