Grand Beachclub Vila Real is an exclusive beach club, beautifully located by the border river, the Guadiana, near the beach.

With breathtaking views of the Centenario bridge and the whitewashed houses of Ayamonte in Spain, this is a place where you can truly relax.

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. The beach club exudes luxury with a Bohemian and Balinese vibe.

With 20 sun loungers and a small private beach, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The small but beautiful infinity pool is well-maintained and ideal for a refreshing dip.

Use of Sun Loungers

Sun loungers are free for guests of the 5-star Gran Hotel. Other visitors that want to use them, pay €15 for a half day and €30 per person for a full day. It is definitely worth it!

Dining with a View 🍽️

You can dine outside or inside the restaurant if it’s too hot or cold outside. The menu is varied and offers something for everyone, including vegetarian and vegan options, like

Soraya, the hostess, is absolutely fantastic. Even if the kitchen isn’t open yet, she arranges food for you! Such great service.

The beach club is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with lunch starting at 12:30 PM. It is closed on Mondays. Free parking is available on the street.
