Austa Brasserie/Dunas Outdoor - A Trendy Dining Experience

Austa Brasserie, situated just outside Almancil, is a striking newcomer to the Algarve's dining and coffee scene. Housed within the spacious Dunas Outdoor showroom, the restaurant offers an industrial ambiance with a quirky twist. With both indoor and outdoor tables, it's the perfect spot to savor a meal in the sun, although it can get a bit warm inside behind the glass.

The menu is hip, featuring dishes presented as works of art.

The emphasis is on nouvelle cuisine, which means portions are on the smaller side. It's wise to add some bread or fries to your order, but the flavors are delightful, and the vegetables come straight from their own garden.

Austa values the environment and uses organic, regionally sourced products, including their own vegetables. The sourdough bread from the local baker in Loule is a hit.

The friendly staff, albeit a bit young and shy, create a pleasant atmosphere, and the (Ibiza) vibe music adds to the overall experience.

While Austa Brasserie can be on the pricey side, with a 10% service charge added to your bill, it offers a distinctive concept and a fantastic garden at the rear. For a unique culinary experience in the Algarve, Austa is definitely worth a visit.
