Absolutely not expensive for a restaurant that actually deserves a Michelin star!

From the spacious parking lot you enter the beautiful old Quinta . We are kindly received by the owner and the 2 hosts. Inside it looks nice. The original shapes of the Quinta have been preserved.

The tables are nicely set, but unfortunately the linen tablecloth is missing, which you would expect at such a beautiful classic French restaurant. The bar, in the middle of the restaurant, is a bit uninviting and too brightly lit, and is therefore not used all evening.

The menu is extensive, with starters such as burrata salad, beetroot carpaccio, camembert and codfish cake.

In addition to 7 meat dishes and 4 fish dishes, only 2 vegetarian dishes are offered. The vegetables crepe and the sweet potatoes with vegetarian parmentier.

The prices vary from 16.50 to 34 euros.  Lunchmenu 14.50 euro.

The traditional couvert with carrot and olive oil is delicious.

The beet carpaccio with apple and walnuts tastes fantastic! The same goes for the mushrooms with garlic oil from the oven.

The main dishes are top notch! The sweet potato pie is so delicious that you would like to eat it every day. The vegetarian crepe with vegetables is also delicious! And finally the dessert, a tarte au pommes , delicious!

The hosts do a good job and are very friendly.

We had a very pleasant evening and will definitely return. The bill was 95,- for 2 starters, mains and desserts, and a delicious bottle of Manoella . Absolutely not expensive for a restaurant that actually deserves a Michelin star!
