Introduction
Genco is a new restaurant in Almancil, right in the heart of the Algarve. Owned by Philip, who also runs the nearby tapas restaurant Brava, and featuring a chef from Pizzeria Casavostra Almancil, Genco offers a unique blend of Mediterranean cuisine, tapas, and artisan pizzas.

Ambiance and Design
Formerly a pizzeria, the restaurant has been extensively renovated and beautifully decorated. The Mediterranean aesthetic combined with neocolonial accents and plenty of natural plants makes it one of the most beautiful spots in the Algarve.

Genco provides a cozy atmosphere with a lovely outdoor terrace, a bar, and an indoor restaurant.

Dining Experience
Genco boasts a wide selection of cocktails, perfect for enjoying on the terrace, at the bar, or at your table.

The staff and owner are extremely friendly and welcoming.

Currently, the restaurant is open from 7 PM to 12 AM (closed on Sundays). They plan to open for lunch in the future once the team is fully trained.

Menu Options
The restaurant has three menus: tapas, pizza, and a "regular" menu featuring fish and meat dishes. There are also vegetarian and vegan options available, such as Vegetarian Pizza (€15), Vegan Meal Salad (€13.50), Risotto (€22), and Tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle (€19).

Personally, I find three menus a bit confusing; one good menu would be preferable.

Name Inspiration
The name Genco is inspired by a character from "The Godfather," adding a unique theme to the restaurant.

Conclusion
Genco offers a complete experience, from delicious food and drinks to a charming ambiance.

It is located on the main road, Av. 5 de Outubro 204, with a large free parking lot at the back. This restaurant could well become the hotspot of Almancil.

Tip for the Owner
Add some organic wines to the wine list. These are popular due to their health benefits, eco-friendliness, and pure taste.
