The Hive bistro is the successor to Acquarel. It is located just outside the center of Almancil.

It is now run by a lovely young couple. There are about 20 tables inside, in bistro style.

Outside is a nice covered terrace and a lounge area, to have a wine or cocktail.

The staff is very friendly, but you can see the restaurant is new.

It is open 7 days a week, from 12:00–01:00

There is a daily 2 course menu for 13 euros (regular or vegan)

The lunch menu also includes dishes such as Gaspachio (7 euros), hamburger (13 euros), and meal salads from 14.50 euros.

There are 3 vegetarian/vegan options: Vegan hamburger (12,50), Vegan Pokebowl (18,50) and vegan Spaghetti (18,50)

The main courses are between 18,50 and 30,50 euro.

There is a spacious private parking space.
