Restaurant Mirandus, nestled within Boutique Hotel Vivenda Miranda, offers a stunning oceanfront setting in Lagos, Portugal.

This charming restaurant is the perfect complement to the small 4-star boutique hotel and cozy lounge bar. Mirandus enchants with its unique seaside location!

Regrettably, our OpenTable reservation was canceled due to a late arrival of more than 15 minutes, understandably due to the common issue of no-shows, yet lacking in hospitality. The German owner appeared exceptionally punctual, unnecessarily so, especially considering that only 5 out of 12 tables were occupied.

Mirandus boasts a beautiful bar with a lounge area where you can enjoy an aperitif before your meal.

The restaurant's interior is aesthetically appealing, though the acoustics could be improved. However, the true gem is the outdoor terrace, directly overlooking the sea—a truly magical setting.

The menu offers a variety of seafood and meat dishes, along with a dedicated menu featuring enticing vegan options, all under the supervision of German chef Christoph Voigt.

Main courses start at €29.50, while the wine list ranges from €30 to €300 per bottle.

We were treated to delightful couvert items, including organic olives, olive oil, beetroot hummus, and delicious gluten-free bread. An excellent organic red wine accompanied our meal.

The service was friendly and efficient but lacked a touch of genuine hospitality. Perhaps a more diverse team, including both male and female staff, could enhance the overall experience.

While the food was good, the expectations for a venue of this caliber and price point were slightly higher. It may not quite compare to Al Sud, also located in Lagos. However, the location, especially the terrace, is unique and ideal for a seaside summer lunch!
