Quinta Do Mel is a beautiful old Quinta, between Vilamoura (12 minutes) and Albureira (15 minutes), in a very rural location on 40 hectares with oranges, lavender and other plants.

It is a beautifully renovated quinta with a bright restaurant, spacious terrace, 12 bedrooms (from 90 per night) and a swimming pool. The 25 employees take good care of you! The ideal place for a reset..

Vitor Carvalhal, the owner, is very nice and showed us around the property.

You have the relaxed feeling of being in the middle of the countryside, yet you are close to the towns of Vilamoura and Albureira.

The Quinta is open 7 days a week, from 8am-7pm. So ideal for breakfast, brunch, lunch or an early dinner.

The menu is very varied, I think the most extensive menu I've ever seen. And that for a relatively small restaurant.

On the menu there are fish, meat and 6 vegetarian options!

Starters cost from 5 euros, main courses from 16.50. The kids menu is 8 euros.

Many of the organic vegetables come from their own farm.

The food tastes very fresh and good! The staff is very friendly.

You can also buy self-produced lavender and other delicious herbs in their little shop. Highly recommended!
