O Lusitano is really a relief compared to all those ugly tourist feed factories in Albufeira ..

Nice couple, beautiful restaurant. Very friendly and attentive service on a fine dining level. Extensive menu, and very affordable lunch menu.
The great main courses cost only 12.95 - 21.95 euros.
Also great vegetarian and vegan options!
O Lusitano has been open all year round for 16 years, many Portuguese guests, owner knows them all, so that's always a good sign! Moreover, all the guests seem to know each other.. very funny!
Beautiful new part of Albufeira, spacious and light. Nice (covered) terrace. 5 min walk from the strip, free parking. 30 min from old town, nicely decorated restaurant.
