Magical Location and Luxurious Welcome
Located in the stunning Vila Vita Parc in Porches, Ocean Restaurant offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Upon arrival, valet service takes care of your car, and a comfortable buggy transports you to the beautifully appointed venue. Positioned right on the coast, this restaurant provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening, complete with a full moon and dancing dolphins in the background 🌕🐬... It was amazing!
World-Class Kitchen Team
Since opening in 2007, Chef Hans Neuner and his team have elevated Ocean to two Michelin stars. Each year the kitchen adopts a new theme, with this year focusing on Asia. The young and energetic team serves culinary masterpieces, transforming local ingredients into spectacular dishes.
Vegan Menu and Wine Offering
Ocean features an extensive menu, including a regular 12 course-tasting menu and, for the first time, a 12-course vegetarian/vegan menu.
We tried both menu's and they are AMAZING!
The wine list is impressive, with a wide selection from all corners of the world. The sommelier helped us choose a delicious organic wine that was perfect for our meal and left us headache-free the next day 🍷...

The ambiance at Ocean is modern and inviting, with a stunning glass facade overlooking the sea.
The service is top-notch; every team member exudes passion and professionalism, always ready to indulge. Note the dress code, and keep in mind that children under 12 and pets are not allowed.
👍 Tops and Tips
Top: The addition of vegetarian and vegan options to the menu since this year is a great extension for all guests.
Tip: It would complete the experience if Chef Hans Neuner would personally visit the tables for a brief chat, as is often customary in other Michelin-starred restaurants.
Ocean is undoubtedly a culinary destination that every gourmet should visit when in the Algarve. The combination of location, innovative cuisine, and outstanding service make every meal here a memorable experience. 🌟🍴
